About the film: Sisters in Arms follows Anuna and Adelaide (Belgium), Luisa (Germany), Lena (France), Leah (Uganda), and Artemisia (Brazil), telling their stories of becoming influential and committed leaders in their communities and countries for environmental justice and protection. Their struggles are presented alongside those of our special guest, Julia Butterfly Hill. The film follows the journey of all these young women, each in their own way, but all driven by a unique energy, these “sisters in arms”. We hope you join to find inspiration and to ask Julia Butterfly Hill your questions after watching the film. More info about Sisters in Arms here

We offer this event as a prequel to our Wild & Scenic Film Festival, which will be held next April on 2 dates, in both Grants Pass and Ashland.
