Join us on Sunday, June 18th to float the Rogue along the base of the Table Rocks, past the Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant and the site of the former Gold Ray dam. We will see signs of historic alteration of the river channel, and observe and discuss the impacts of wastewater treatment facilities on the Rogue watershed.

We will float for roughly 2 to 2 1/2 hours through mild water talking about how our region handles wastewater and seeing impacts of various human activities over time. We start at the Touvelle Park boat ramp on north side of river off of Table Rock Road. (Please note that there is a small day use fee to park a vehicle at the county parks). We will take out at Fisher's Ferry off of Tolo Road. Meet at the signed boat ramp at Fisher's Ferry to arrange the shuttle.

Boats will be guided by our knowledgeable staff. Space is limited to 12 people.

If you have your own rafts, kayaks, drift boats, Stand Up Paddle Board’s etc, you are invited to come out and float with us as well. All river sections will be mild but with fun, class I-II whitewater (splashy but not difficult). If you need assistance with shuttle please let us know.

There is a $10 suggested donation for current members or $35 membership price for non-members. Bring a water bottle, snacks, sunscreen, a hat, and clothes and footwear that stays on your feet and can get wet. Please do not bring alcohol. Everyone is required to use a personal floatation device. Riverkeeper will provide PFDs for people in our boats. Children 6 and up are welcome.

These trips are designed to introduce people to the river. If you are requesting space on our boats, please limit your participation to one float trip per year. If you are interested in more rafting experience, we will be happy to refer you to one of the amazing locals outfitters in the area.

Space is limited to 12 people. Reservations and payment are required. Call or email Robyn to RSVP, 541-488-9831,
